Prelist
Prelist was an Australian startup business that focused on connecting homeowners with the best realestate agent for them. It gave the homeowner an opportunity to hand select the agent for them after the agent placed a bid on their property to secure the contract.
In this Chair and Desk built the whole platform from back to front and dealt with many third parties to successfully launch the business. This system involved a frontend for the users, a frontend for the agents, and an admin dashboard to monitor and manage the site.
Two Sided Marketplaces
Two sided marketplaces can often be difficult to build. Chair and Desk has tried and tested experience in two sided marketplaces. When push comes to shove the logic is quite similar and functionality can be drawn from each app that we have built. The key is to make it easy for both sets of users to join quickly.
Payments & Subscriptions
This application worked on a subscription based model for the agents. Chair and Desk setup the subscription service using Stripe Billing. Stripe made it easy to manage this and allowed us to have an integrated payments form inside of the app. We were also able to build out in-app payments using regular Stripe payments which was just as quick to setup.
Managing Cloud Services
At the base of it was Azure. Chair and Desk managed all the Azure services that made Prelist run. This involved using Azure Web Apps, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Load Balancer, Azure CDN and many other Azure services.
